Gross Pathology - Capillary Hemangiomas of Liver: Long-standing liver hemangiomas can undergo sclerosis and calcification and acquire tan-white, scar-like appearance. In this image, the surrounding liver parenchyma shows mild chronic passive congestion (nutmeg pattern).
