Clinical Features of Crohn Disease (continued from previous slide):
Extra-intestinal Manifestations: They include uveitis, migratory polyarthritis, sacroiliitis, ankylosing spondylitis, erythema nodosum, and clubbing of fingers. Liver manifestations (sclerosing cholangitis and pericholangitis) are not as common as in ulcerative colitis but occur with a greater frequency than in the general population.

The image shows colectomy specimen from a patient with Crohn disease. The mucosa is granular and congested and shows linear ulceration covered with exudate.
