AdenoCA of Colon : Gross

This image shows infiltrating adenocarcinoma arising in a preexisting tubular adenoma. The adenomatous component can be seen as a small smooth surface portion on the left. The right two-thirds of the mass with erythematous, irregular surface showed invasive component.
