Introduction: Gallbladder dysplasia a flat, non-tumoral intraepithelial neoplasm that is usually discovered incidentally or it may be found adjacent to invasive carcinoma. The term biliary intraepithelial neoplasia is synonymous with dysplasia and either term is acceptable. The term high-grade dysplasia has been used interchangeably with carcinoma-in-situ; however, WHO classification recommends using high-grade dysplasia (shown here).
