Image Description
Occasionally, pheochromocytoma arises simultaneously with ganglioneuroma (shown here), ganglioneuroblastoma, or neuroblastoma. In this image, pheochromocytoma is present in the right half and shows several abnormal ganglion-like cells. The ganglioneuroma is present in the left half of the image and shows clusters of mature ganglion cells surrounded by fascicles of Schwann-like cells.
