Marjolin's Ulcer

Marjolin's ulcer refers to an ulcerating squamous cell carcinoma arising in an area of previously traumatized, scarred, or inflamed skin. They may result from non-healing wounds associated with trauma, burns, osteomyelitis, venous ulcers, or post-radiation scars. This is a case of above knee amputation done for Marjolin’s ulcer in a 48 y/o male with history of extensive trauma and scarring 10 yrs back. He presented with a chronic ulcerative lesion on left lower leg extending from the dorsum of foot to lower half of anterior surface over tibia.
