Some cases of keratoacanthoma show reactive proliferation of sweat glands. The right half of this image shows a focus of sweat duct hyperplasia. The left half shows numerous clusters of well-differentiated keratinizing squamous epithelium. One of the squamous nests near the bottom has a neutrophilic microabscess.
