Apocrine Adenoma - Tubular type

Tubular apocrine adenoma is a rare benign tumor that is most often seen in the scalp but also occurs at other sites, including face, axilla, leg, and genitalia. It shows female predominance (2:1). The tumor presents as a circumscribed, intradermal nodule that may involve the subcutaneous adipose tissue and is composed of variably-sized tubules, some of which are cystically dilated, set in a hyalinized background. The tubules are lined by double or multilayered epithelial cells that can be appreciated from medium magnification.
