Image Description

Some ducts have a comma-like tail, imparting a tadpole or paisley shape. Intraluminal eosinophillic material may be present. Tumor cells may also be arranged in strands or small nests. Syringomas should be distinguished from microcystic adnexal carcinomas, which extend deeper into the dermis and often show perineural invasion.
