Condyloma Acuminata : Immunohistochemistry

Human papillomavirus (HPV) can be detected by immunohistochemistry using antibodies against the protein coat of the virus. A commonly used antibody binds with L1 which is a major capsid protein of HPV type 16 (high risk subtype).
