Fibromatosis of Breast
Image Description
Gross Pathology: Grossly, fibromatosis is poorly-circumscribed with stellate shape and infiltrating margins; however, some cases may be round or oval and well-defined (as seen here). The cut surface has whitish-gray or tan appearance. It may be trabeculated or whorled with a resemblance to uterine leiomyomas. Hemorrhage and necrosis are not common.
