Comments:
It is a benign polypoid growth that may be seen in the distal genital tract of reproductive-age females. It is hormonally sensitive and may be especially seen during pregnancy. Occasionally, it occurs in post-menopausal women on hormone replacement therapy. The image shows loose fibrovascular stroma underlying an unremarkable squamous mucosa.
