Comments:
The nuclei of tumor cells in chondroblastoma may be oval, indented or lobulated and may have longitudinal grooves giving rise to coffee-bean appearance. Some may resemble the nuclei of Langerhans’ cells. Mitotic figures may be occasionally seen in chondroblastomas; however, atypical mitoses are never found. This image shows 2-3 recognizable mitotic figures.
