Comments:
Higher magnification of the previous image showing gemistocytic cells with moderate nuclear atypia. The 5-yr survival of 30% for gemistocytic astrocytomas is significantly worse than other low-grade gliomas prompting some authors to suggest that they should be labeled and treated as WHO Grade III tumors.
