Specimen radiograph of a telangiectatic osteosarcoma (same case as the previous gross specimen) shows the purely lytic nature of the lesion. The upper end of femur is completely destroyed by the neoplasm. On MRI and CT scans, the signal intensity is heterogenous. It often shows septations with fluid-fluid levels.
