Comments:
In dedifferentiated chondrosarcoma, there is usually abrupt transition from the low-grade chondrosarcoma (left half of the image) to zones of anaplastic tumor (right half). Two separate tumors appear to coexist side by side. The undifferentiated tumor on the right has the appearance of a high-grade spindle cell sarcoma.
