Comments:
Case History: Here is a striking case of myositis ossificans. The patient was a 25 y/o male with history of multiple gunshot wounds resulting in spinal cord injury and paraplegia. This plain radiograph (frontal view) shows bilateral heterogeneous calcifications that extend from the iliac bones to the middle third of the femurs. A firearm projectile is located near the left ischial rami.
