Inflammation in Lobular CA

Lymphocytic reaction is a rare finding in the classical pattern of infiltrating lobular carcinoma. In this field, the tumor cells are obscured by lymphocytes and plasma cells. Intense lymphoplasmacytic reaction with germinal centers may suggest coexistent lymphocytic mastitis.
