AITL involving Bone Marrow

Bone marrow involvement in angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL): In addition to lymph nodes, AITL can involve bone marrow and skin. The bone marrow biopsy shows polymorphic cellular aggregates (similar to lymph nodes) in non-paratrabecular location. Aberrant CD10 expression is a useful diagnostic feature. Flow cytometry may show circulating CD10+ T cells in peripheral blood.
