Comments:
This variant shows preservation of nodal architecture with residual B-cell follicles which may be hyperplastic. The lymphomatous involvement is mainly interfollicular and consists of small to medium-sized T-cells without significant atypia. Reactive infiltrate of histiocytes, plasma cells, and eosinophils may also be present. The distinction of T-zone variant from a reactive lymph node may be extremely difficult on morphologic grounds and usually requires T-cell receptor gene rearrangement studies.
