Neuroendocrine Carcinoma

Comments:
This neuroendocrine carcinoma shows more cytologic atypia and irregularity than would be expected in a well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumor. The presence of abundant cytoplasm, which prevents nuclear crowding and molding, classifies this tumor as a large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma rather than a small cell carcinoma.
