Gross Pathology: Atypical lipomatous tumor/well-differentiated liposarcoma arising in the retroperitoneum in perirenal fat. The tumor had completely engulfed the kidney (see next image). It measured 28 cm in greatest dimension. The tumor was resected along with kidney and spleen (seen near the center of the image).
