Comments:
Atypical lipomatous tumor/Well-differentiated liposarcoma (ALT/WDL) in a 48 y/o male. The soft, oval lesion measuring 8.0 cm in greatest dimension was located along the radial aspect of the wrist. The diagnosis of ALT/WDL was confirmed on microscopic examination of the resected mass. Within extremities, ALT/WDLs are usually located proximally in deep soft tissues. Distal extremities are an uncommon site for ALT/WDL.
