Comments:
Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) of Skin: Langerhans cells are uniform round or oval cells with moderate amount of lightly eosinophilic cytoplasm. They lack atypia and have distinctive indented or grooved nuclei (coffee bean nuclei). Nucleoli are not prominent. There is variable mitotic activity and atypical forms are not seen. Bi- or multinucleated cells with similar nuclei may be present. Langerhans cells may show spindle morphology in rare cases.
