Comments:
Granulomatous Mycosis Fungoides (MF) - Differential Diagnosis: There is considerable histologic overlap between granulomatous MF and granulomatous slack skin disease - which is a specific type of MF.

Features favoring granulomatous slack skin disease include: dense lymphocytic infiltrate extending into subcutis, ill-defined granulomas, prominent lymphophagocytosis, multinucleate giant cells with numerous nuclei, and more extensive loss of elastic tissue.

Granulomatous inflammation can also be a feature of many subtypes of cutaneous B- and T-cell lymphomas.
