Comments:
Microscopic Features: Monomorphic epitheliotropic intestinal T-cell lymphoma (MEITL) is composed of a population of uniform medium-sized neoplastic lymphocytes. The nuclei are round or oval and regular with finely dispersed chromatin and nucleoli are not prominent. There is a rim of lightly eosinophilic cytoplasm. Pleomorphism is minimal or absent.

There is prominent infiltration of intestinal mucosa by neoplastic cells (epitheliotropism). The villous architecture is distorted with blunting or expansion of villi. However, unlike EATL, there is no necrosis or an inflammatory component.
