Mediastinal Grey Zone Lymphoma: Some cases resemble primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma but lack CD20 and show positivity for CD15 or EBV. Other cases resemble classic Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) but express B-cell markers and are negative for CD15.

Most cases express CD45, CD20, CD79a, OCT-2, BOB-1, CD30, and CD15. Like both PMLBCL and cHL, they show chromosomal aberrations involving 2p16.1 (REL/BCL11A), 9p24.1 (JAK2/PDL2), 16p13.13 (CIITA) and 8q24 (MYC).
