Ganglio-neuroblastoma : Calcification

Calcification is a common finding in ganglioneuroblastomas. It may be prominent enough to be detected on plain films. Calcification is usually present in the form of basophilic aggregates, round concretions, or in a “chicken wire” fashion enveloping individual tumor cells (shown here).
