Comments:
The tumor is strongly positive for PSA confirming the diagnosis. Immunostaining with PSA, PAP, p501S (Prostein), and Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) can be helpful when distinction cannot be made on H&E features alone between high-grade prostate cancer and urothelial carcinoma in small bladder biopsies. High molecular weight cytokeratin and p63 are also useful in this situation (+ve in urothelial cancer and negative in prostatic tumors).
