Microscopic Features of Inverted Papillary Urothelial Carcinoma, Low-Grade: There is loss of polarity with respect to the basement membrane. Cytologic atypia is minimal, consisting of enlarged but uniform hyperchromatic nuclei, punctate nucleoli, and scattered mitotic figures.
