Cardiac Angiosarcoma

Comments:
High-grade primary angiosarcoma of the heart. The image shows a spindle cell proliferation with moderate cytologic atypia and increased mitotic activity infiltrating the adipose tissue around pericardium. The diagnosis was confirmed with the help of immunostains (strong immunoreactivity for CD31, CD34, and ERG).
