Penis : Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Comments:
The tumor is extending finger-like projections into the underlying dermis. Rare dyskeratocytes are also seen. A recent study has suggested that depth of invasion (measured from the basement membrane of squamous epithelium to the deepest invasive cancer cells) and vascular invasion are predictors of cancer progression in penile squamous cell carcinoma.
