Comments:
Imaging: The imaging findings in undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (UPS) are non-specific and could represent any number of sarcomas. This MRI with contrast is from an 80 y/o male with a thigh mass. It demonstrates a large, relatively well-circumscribed soft tissue mass in the lateral aspect of the thigh. There is contrast enhancement with no evidence of extension into the femur. The findings are non-specific. The diagnosis of UPS was confirmed in the resected tumor.
