Microscopic Features: Hibernomas are well-circumscribed, encapsulated tumors that are subdivided into lobules by delicate fibrovascular septa. There is a rich vascular network within the lobules. Four morphologic patterns have been described:

  • classic (82%)
  • lipoma-like (7%)
  • myxoid (9%)
