Comments:
The differential diagnosis of intramuscular lipoma includes diffuse lipoblastomatosis and lipomatosis that usually occur in the subcutis and muscle in infants and children. They are composed of variably-sized irregular lobules of immature fat separated by connective tissue septa. The lobules show lipoblasts in various stages of development. The other entity in differential diagnosis is intramuscular vascular malformation with fat.
