Benign Tumors of Rete Testis: The histologic features depend upon the specific tumor type and range from closely packed tubules (adenoma), prominent cystic component (cystadenoma), papillae projecting within cyst lumen (papillary cystadenoma; shown here), tubules in copious fibromatous stroma (adenofibroma), and solid tubules mimicking Sertoli cell tumor (Sertoliform cystadenoma).

The lining cells are cuboidal to columnar and lack cytologic atypia. Mitotic activity is not increased. Transition from normal rete testis epithelium is rarely seen.
