Comments:
Fibrous dysplasia involving femoral metaphysis. The lesion is well-circumscribed with both lytic and sclerotic areas. It has a multiloculated appearance due to endosteal scalloping. It is surrounded by a thick layer of reactive sclerotic bone (rind sign). There is no periosteal reaction.
