Comments:
Cut surface of the humerus demonstrates multi-lobulated endomedullary lesions permeating through the marrow. The lesions are bluish-white, homogenous and glistening in appearance consistent with hyaline cartilage. There is no extension through the cortex. On microscopic examination, this tumor was a Grade I chondrosarcoma. In some cases, the center of cartilagenous lobules may become necrotic, liquefied and cystic.
