Comments:
FLC may contain foci of tumor cells embedded in loose, myxoid stroma, resembling the scirrhous pattern of conventional HCC. The tumor cells still bear a striking resemblance to native hepatocytes, with abundant cytoplasm and distinct cell borders. The large nuclei, prominent nucleoli, and cellular atypia are characteristic of hepatocellular malignancies.
