Comments:
At higher magnification, the nuclei appear enlarged but lack prominent nucleoli. The diagnosis of adenocarcinoma in this case was established based on the large number of irregular glands with infiltrative appearance and the complete absence of basal cells with immunostain for high molecular weight cytokeratin (see next image).
