Comments:
Traditional Serrated Adenoma (TSA): TSA is the least common subtype among serrated lesions and makes up less than 1% of all colorectal polyps. They are small and usually found in distal colon. They are pedunculated, have villiform architecture and resemble tubulovillous adenomas.

This is a narrow band imaging (NBI) view of the same adenoma shown in the previous image. NBI highlights vasculature and may help endoscopist distinguish between neoplastic and non-neoplastic lesions. For further details on NBI in endoscopy, see Slide #6.
