Comments:
Another example of high-grade dysplasia in Barrett esophagus. Dysplastic changes, in the absence of carcinoma, are found in between 5% to 10% of cases of Barrett esophagus. It increases the risk of developing invasive carcinoma by 30 to 40 times that in the general population.
