Comments:
This patient presented with history suggestive of reflux esophagitis not responding to therapy. He was diagnosed with herpes esophagitis. Note the characteristic features - margination of chromatin and intranuclear ground glass inclusions (Cowdry A bodies) in a background of ulcer.
