Comments:
Differential diagnosis of salivary duct carcinoma includes high grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma, adenoid cystic carcinoma, acinic cell carcinoma, oncocytic carcinoma, and metastatic mammary carcinoma.

This high magnification view shows portion of a solid nest with central comedonecrosis (lower right). The tumor cells have large vesicular nuclei with punctate nucleoli. Mitotic activity is increased.
