Enterobius vermicularis

Comments:
Enterobius vermicularis in appendiceal lumen. In most cases, there is little to no tissue response in the appendix. Rarely, the worms invade the mucosa causing ulceration and an intense inflammatory response consisting of eosinophils and neutrophils.
