Comments:
T-cell/Histiocyte-rich Large B-cell Lymphoma (THRLBCL) is the most common subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma associated with NLPHL. It shows small numbers of large neoplastic B-cells in a background rich in T lymphocytes and histiocytes. THRLBCL is similar to the diffuse variant of NLPHL and they may represent different ends of the same disease spectrum. They have occurred as composite lymphomas in the same lymph node, as metachronous lymphomas, or in multiple family members.

This image of NLPHL shows several LP cells with complex, multilobated nuclei (popcorn cells) in a background of small lymphocytes. They have one or more basophilic nucleoli and scant cytoplasm. A few scattered epithelioid histiocytes are also present.
