Comments:
High-grade renal angiosarcoma consisting of a solid sheet of spindle cells with atypical hyperchromatic nuclei and increased mitotic activity. There is minimal vasoformative activity with just a few scattered vascular spaces punctuating the solid areas.

In the absence of better differentiated areas (with anastomosing vascular channels), such cases can be differentiated from other spindle cell malignancies of the kidney only with the help of a panel of immunostains including the endothelial markers.
