Comments:
Some embryonal rhabdomyosarcomas (RMS) are extremely well-differentiated and composed almost entirely of round, oval, or spindle shaped rhabdomyoblasts. This feature is more often seen in recurrent or metastatic tumors after prolonged therapy. The rhabdomyoblasts have abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm, large vesicular nuclei, prominent nucleoli, and frequent cross-striations.
