The bullae of pemphigus vulgaris (PV) are sometimes seen in mucosal sites such as oral cavity, nose, pharynx, larynx, or vagina. Ocular involvement is present in about 17% of cases of PV in the form of conjunctivitis (shown here) or erosions of palpebral or bulbar conjunctiva.
