Comments:
Neuroendocrine cells are seen in benign prostate, high-grade PIN, and cancer. They are most abundant near verumontanum. In this image, many neuroendocrine cells with large eosinophilic granules (Paneth cell-like change) are seen in atrophic prostate glands.
